Our Chaplains

Rodney is a retired police officer with the Fresno Police Department and has now taken on the role as their Senior Chaplain. He has a Bachelor's in Bible and Theology along with an M.Div. from Multnomah University. As a Chaplain Rodney is able to engage police department personnel on a unique level, sharing encouragement and counsel to those who protect us. Also, as a first responder to community needs God has provided opportunities to meet and impact people during the most difficult periods of their life.
Wes Bigelow Wes has been with the Chaplaincy for the past eleven years. He has also been a pastor and counselor for thirty five years. Areas of service include: Counseling-alcohol and drug, financial, marriage, prison ministry, and various state recognized programs. Wes has a Bachelor of  Arts in Theology.
Irvin Brown As a pastor, Irvin Brown has served churches in Oregon, Idaho, Arizona, California, and a short missionary term in Haiti. He has been a Fresno Police Chaplain for eleven years. Chaplain Brown has a Bachelor of Sacred Literature degree from San Jose Bible College at San Jose, California, which is now William Jessup University at Rocklin, California; and a Master of Divinity degree from Luther Rice Seminary, Lithonia, Georgia.
Ed Crain Ed has been a member of the Fresno Police Chaplaincy since 2002. He has a B.A. in Bible and Theology and currently ministers full time as a Chaplain for the state prison system. Ed also serves as a Chaplain for the Fresno Grizzlies.
Craig Eischen Craig joined the Chaplaincy this year due to the desire to help others. He is an ordained minister attending Peoples Church. Craig takes pleasure helping and counseling those in need.
John Hayes John has been a member of the Fresno Police Department Chaplaincy since 2001. He serves as a Lead Chaplain in the NW Policing District and as a member of Neighborhood Emergency Service Team (NEST), which responds to all critical incidents within the City of Fresno in order to provide for immediate needs of the police department personnel along with the community. John enjoys the opportunity to offer comfort to those who are hurting.
Jerry Galvan Jerry has been a Chaplain with the Fresno Police Department since 2004, He is also involved as a Chaplain for Harmony Free Will Baptist Church and a member of Rapid Response for Disaster. Jerry'sspiritual gifts include mercy and compassion which he is able to use in caring for the members of the police department and the community.
Bob Henry Bob graduated from California Bible Institute and Seminary in August, 1991 and was ordained as a minister the following year. He joined the Fresno Police Chaplaincy in 1998. Bob is an assistant chaplain with the Fresno Rescue Mission and serve as a board member with Feed My Sheep Ministries.

Bruce Hood Bruce has been a resident of Fresno his whole life, but "Born Again" at the Fresno Rescue Mission, He decided to become a chaplain first at the mission, and then at the Fresno Police Department. Bruce currently pastors in West Fresno, operates five rehabilitation centers, and one job placement center.
Gary B. Siriyamonkham Gary completed the education levels of a Bachelor's Degree in Science, and an AA Degree in Theology from San Jose State University in California. He attend Butler Mennonite as an assistant pastor in the asian cummunity and has been serving proudly as a chaplain since June 30, 2000.
Tim Rodriguez Tim is a member of the Spanish Seventh-Day Adventist Church. He became a chaplain in October 2007. Graduated with a Bachelor's Degree in Business Administration. "I have enjoyed being a chaplain the past nine years, making many new, close friends and had may rewarding experiences."
Sandy Snow Sandy has worked for the Chaplaincy for 5 years, but she's been with the FPD serving in Background Investigation and COP respectively. Sandy loves the position of Chaplain because it provides support to the officers and the citizens of Fresno.
Chuck Turley Chuck has been in the ministry for twenty five years, now serving as the Pastoral Care Pastor and Seniors Minister at his Church. Chuck has been a Police Chaplain for twelve years.
